Austique is looking for one fabulous lady to represent our brand around town- which basically means lots of free dresses and hot invites for the lucky winner!!  

What’s a brand ambassador? 

Austique’s brand ambassadors are a hand-picked bunch of the loveliest ladies around who we think embody the Austique spirit. We let these ladies have first view of all our collections, pick their favourite dress from each season’s collections and invite them to all of our parties and events. 
 
 We will also be offering the winner of this competition, should they want it,  a guest blog on austiquegirl.com
 
How to win?
 
Simply upload a photograph of yourself wearing your favourite Austique dress to our facebook page. It’s that easy!  We will choose the most fabulous girl as our ambassador and announce the winner at the end of August.

So if you don’t have any hot pictures to hand, get snapping now- there’s still loads of time to win.

Markus Lupfer talks to Grazia

We’re all totally over-excited by the arrival of Markus Lupfer at Austique. The collection was delivered yesterday afternoon (by the hand of a very sweet intern we might add- no carbon footprint there!) and we’ve spent the last 24 hours drooling over the cute, sequin embellished jumpers and jersey-dresses.

Hemgems- smart girls’ hassle free tailoring

I have been “vertically challenged” since I was 13. Up until then I was a pretty normal grower, some may have even considered me tall for my age, and then it stopped. I think it’s more than a coincidence that this is the age I had my first cigarette- I am living proof that the scientists are right- smoking is very bad for you!

Finding clothes-epecially jeans- that fit is the bain of my life so you can imagine my excitement at the discovery of hemgems. Hemgems are the short girl’s answer to endless alterations bills. The ingenious little studs are available in four styles and let you doctor any pair of trousers in a snap (literally).

Just fold your jeans to the desired length, clutch the seam, and tuck the cuff up and inside. Fasten a Gem to the front, back, and either side of your pant leg. Et voila- transformation complete!

Not only are these fantastic for the vertically challenged amongst us, they’re also great for changing the length of your jeans whether you’re wearing flats of skyscraping heels- simply add the hemgems for flat days and remove before you go out in the evening. Jeanious!!!
