London Fashion Week, Part 2.

With Paris Fashion Week upon us we would like to share with you what we’ve been up to in the last few weeks!

Having the opportunity to shadow our buyers whilst they hunt down what will soon be our SS13 collections, I have the most fabulous photographs and exciting news to share!

First stop – Claret Showroom where we looked at the amazing SS13 collections from Mara Hoffman, Alice McCall and Madeleine Thompson.

Next stop – Top Drawer where we were searching for the perfect gifts to shower you with this Christmas. Keep an eye out for beautiful bespoke gifts here at Austique.

And finally, we ended at Somerset house for the London Fashion Week exhibitions. We saw some of our favorites including; Wilbur & Gussie and Buba London.

Exciting News From Austique!

Our buyer Aalish tied the knot earlier this month in a beautiful Amanda Wakeley gown and she looked so stunning we thought we’d share some of the photos with you!The lucky bride had THREE outfit changes throughout the day one of which included the beautiful Austique Mila dress teamed with the iconic Austique Emily Coat! The fabulous Austique girls were also kitted out in some of our favourites including Parker, Camilla and Marc, Libelula, Alice + Olivia and Mara Hoffman.And finally, the beautiful mother of the groom looked radiant in the Austique Nicola dress.

What an amazing day! Congratulations Aalish & Marcus!

London Fashion Week, 2012 (LFW)

It’s that time of year again: designers run ragged, plane loads of buyers & of course the press taking charge whilst every celebrity worth their salt gathers together, taking up the front row seats of London’s hottest fashion shows. Yes, it’s London Fashion Week once again. Twice a year all hell breaks loose when fashions’ hottest event hits New York, London, Milan and finally Paris.

Here in London, Fashion Week is one of the most – if not the most important event in any designers’ calendar. Not only is it an exclusive opportunity to showcase new collections from old favourites, it’s also a perfect platform to introduce up and coming designers. With hundreds of photographers snapping the latest trends and countless bloggers hammering notes into their I-Pads, it can be a life changing moment for any designer. A whole month dedicated to fashion across the globe!

We are lucky to live in such a fabulous city thriving with style and innovative ideas. LFW is the place to be for absolute raw style and an insight into our soon to be SS13 wardrobe! LFW is the pinnacle of British fashion, introducing groundbreaking designs to the world. Be Inspired, I know we are!
